Services for Mary Ybarra Bergara, 78, of Brownfield were held Tuesday,
January 17, in St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Jerry Leatham
officiating. Burial was in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction
of
Brownfield Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bergara died Friday, January 13, 2006, in Lubbock Heart Hospital.
She was born May 19, 1927, in Houston.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Bergara, of Brownfield; 3 daughters:
Sylvia Vasquez, of Houston, and Selma Reyes and Sonia Cruz both of Brown-
field; and 5 sons: Ray, Jr., of Houston, Rueben of San Angelo, Rudy and
Richard both of Brownfield, and Raymond of Canyon.
Mrs. Bergara is also survived by 1 sister: Emma Guzman, of Washington
State;
2 brothers: Paul Ybarra of San Antonio and Joe Ybarra of Washington State, and
by 20 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
