Opal Marie Beasley

Services for Opal Marie Beasley, 84, were held Wednesday, August 16, at 10 a.m.
at the Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel.
She died Aug. 10, 2006. Beasley was born May 29, 1922 to Gus and Maggie Estill
in Palo Pinto County. She married Gordon Russell Beasley, June 22, 1962, in
Brownfield.
He preceded her in death October 2, 1994.
They owned and operated Beasley's Used Furniture in Brownfield for over 30
years.
She attended the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Gayle Roberts of Florence, Colo.;
a son, Doyle Gene Crawford of Germany; and numerous grandchildren
and great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by two sisters, Alene Crawford of Arlington and
Doris Beck of Brownfield; and one brother, James Fleming Estill of Brownfield.
Beasley was preceded in death by a daughter, Sharlon M. Wright; two brothers,
Woodrow and Elmer Estill; and two sisters, Mamie Alexander and Rosie Lee Brown.
