Inez Mae Baldwin, 86, of Lubbock, formerly of Brownfield, were held
Monday, Dec. 18, in the West Tate Street Church of Christ with Dr.
Thomas Langford and Ernest Smith officiating.
Burial was in Terry County Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Baldwin died Friday, Dec. 15, 2006 in Lubbock. She was born May 26, 1920 in Mena, Ark. to Alvin and Nancy Cates Anderson and was married to Arnold Baldwin on Sep. 4, 1938 in Brownfield. Mrs. Baldwin moved with her family to Lynn County in 1928 where she was raised in the Edith Community. She moved with her family to Wellman in 1936. She graduated from Wellman High School. Mrs. Baldwin and her husband ministered to five congregations in 39 years in the ministry. They retired from the ministry and moved back to Brownfield in 1984. She was a member of the West Tate Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson---Jerry Wayne Baldwin; one brother---Milton Anderson and one sister---Effie Rinehart. Mrs. Baldwin is survived by her husband; two sons---Marshall W. and his wife---Susie of Lubbock and Jerold and his wife---Joy of Brownfield; one brother---Raymond L. Anderson of Amarillo and by 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Grandsons and great-grandsons served as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Berean Children's Home, Box 1009, Brookhaven, Miss., 39602-1009
