Betty Bailey, age 68, of Brownfield passed away Saturday,
December 16, 2006, at Brownfield Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Bailey was born March 14, 1938, in Gonzales, Texas,
to Kyle and Ola Mae McKinney. She attended schools in Gonzales
and was a long time resident of Brownfield.
Mrs. Bailey married Edmond Bailey and he preceded her in death in
1991. She worked for many years at the Village Grill as a
cook.
Services for Mrs. Bailey will be Wednesday, December 20, 2006, at
2:00 p.m. at the Greater New Hope Baptist Church. Rev. Eugene Reed
will officiate. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Brownfield. Services
are being handled by Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors of Brownfield.
Those left to cherish her memories are 2 Daughters: Melissa Coe and Priscilla
Torres, both of Levelland. 1 Brother: Curtis Smith of Brownfield and
2 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by 1 Brother, George
Hights
and 1 Sister, Alonie Lewis.
