Baccus, 88, of Brownfield passed away Monday, April 9, 2007, in
Lubbock. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2007, at
the Brownfield First Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Land
officiating. Interment will follow at the Terry County Memorial
Cemetery. Clarine was born December 20, 1918, to Clarence and Beulah Browning in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She grew up in Rocksprings, Texas. She married M. W. "Jack" Baccus on October 11, 1947 in Del Rio, Texas. They moved to Terry County in 1955 where they farmed until retiring in 1984. He preceded her in death on February 14, 1986. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Brownfield. She is survived by 3 Sons: William P. O'Connell and his wife Barbara of Houston, Gary Baccus and his wife Jana of Oklahoma City, and Duane Baccus and his wife Leslie of Carrollton, TX; 2 Daughters: Darleen Holladay and her husband Billy of Corinth, TX, and Susan Russell and her husband Mark of Valley View, TX, 14 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Brownfield Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2007.
