                                Memorial Services for Policarpio "Carpio" Alvarado, 73, of Brownfield, were
                                held Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006, in the Latin Foursquare Church.   Funeral Services
                                were held Thursday, Jan 12, in the Latin Foursquare Church with Rev. Rudy
                                Alvarado officiating.   Burial was in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of
                                Mark A. Jones Funeral Directors.

                                Mr. Alvarado died Monday, Jan. 9, in Brownfield Regional Medical Center.   He
                                was born Jan. 26, 1932, in Yorktown to Gabriel and Felicine Alvarado and was
                                married to Tomasa Rodriguez in 1954.   He was a farmer and had lived in Brown-
                                field since 1961.

                                Mr. Alvarado is survived by his wife and 5 sons: Policarpio, Jr., Rudy and Adam,
                                all of Brownfield, Ezequel of Garland and Roy Lee of Fort Stockton.   He is also
                                survived by 5 daughters: Feliciana Arcelay and Sylvia Gallegos of Lewsville, 
                                Cristela and Eva Alvarado, both of Brownfield, and Elizabeth Flores of Lubbock.

                                He is also survived by 2 brothers: Gabriel, Jr., of Sublette, Kansas, and Trinidad
                                of Wallace, and one sister, Feliciana Cantu, of Texas City.   He was preceded in
                                death by his parents and 1 son, Ricky Alvarado, and by 4 brothers.
