Obituary for Yvonne "Von" Agnew

Services for Von Agnew, 74, of Brownfield were held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 13, 2012, at Challis Baptist Church with Chris Seaton officiating. Burial followed at Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Von passed away on January 9, 2012, in Haskell. She was born in Pittsburg County, Oklahoma on August 23, 1937 to William and Jackie Bolen. She graduated from Wellman High School and then graduated from Howard Payne University.

Von married Paul Agnew in Brownfield on June 29, 1957. Paul preceded her in death on July 21, 1997. Von was a nurse before dedicating her life to her family as a homemaker.

Von is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; two sons, Johnny Wayne and James William Agnew; three brothers, Johnny, Clyde and Charles Bolen; and a sister, Mary Willis.

Von is survived by a daughter, Donna Foster of Brownfield; three sons, David Lee Agnew of Columbia, Mass., Arthur Lynn Agnew of Caldwell and Donald Allen Agnew of Brownfield; 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; a brother, Harold Bolen of Irving; two sisters, Beatrice Willis of Phoenix, Ariz.,and Clara Zurovec of Hobbs, N.M.
