Adkisson, 77, of Brownfield died on Saturday, May 31, 2008, in
Lubbock. Graveside services were held June 3 at the Terry County
Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Chris Seaton officiating. Betty was born on July 30, 1930, in Littlefield to Jack and Willie Boone. She moved to Brownfield as a child where she attended schools. She married Jerald Adkisson on December 10, 1971 in Phoenix, Ariz. Betty is survived by her husband; two daughters, Terry Ligon and her husband Jerry of Eliasville, Texas and Beverly Jones of Graham, Texas; two grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and her sister, Ella Wallace of Apple Valley, Calif.
