for 1927 were included in Book No. 1 (out of date order) and are marked with *.
The names are written as found on the records. A question mark (?) means we think that is the correct spelling. The spelling of a few names has been changed if the correct spelling is known to be different.

The date given is that
of the marriage ceremony as recorded by the official who performed the rites.
If the license was issued but no marriage date was recorded, “lic” is written by
the date to indicate
this is the date the license was issued and not the date of the marriage.
It may be that the marriage was not
performed or that the official failed to return the information to the courthouse.
