The Rains County Leader
January 14, 1916
Born to Mr. and Mrs. John Shepard, Monday, January 10th, a boy. Mother is doing well, but God saw fit to take the little one to the great beyond, where there is no suffering or pain for anyone. Its remains were laid to rest at the Parks Cemetery Tuesday at 3 p.m. We offer our condolences and sympathy to the sadly bereaved parents.
(Apparently this is an unmarked grave)
