"This cemetery was removed from its original location in Rains Co. when the dam at Lake Tawakoni was built.  The graves were moved to the Bright Star Cemetery which is 2.6 miles inside the Van Zandt Co., TX line.  Only a large marker in the corner of the Bright Start Cemetery states "4 known and 82 unknown persons formerly buried in the McBride family cemetery".
