Legislature Composite 1874

We think the photo of Thomas M. Cain was taken for the Legislature Composite.

I found a copy of the 1874 14th Texas Legislature Composite in the Texas archives which said the photo is hanging in the Capital bldg.

There were 33 Senators, which Tom M. Cain was a Senator representing Rains, Wood and Van Zandt counties.

The Senator photos are within the inner circle of the composite. Best we can tell, Tom M. Cain's photo is lower left.
