Ervin Davenport & Odessa Lea Davenport Ervin Davenport Funeral services for Ervin Davenport, 91, of Bay City will be held noon Tuesday at Mother Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. F. R. Cones officiating. Burial will be at Union Baptist Cemetery in Pledger. The family will receive friends 7:30 to 8:30 p. m. today at Green's Mortuary. Mr. Davenport was born Nov. 4, 1903 to Andrew and Lucretia Hayes Davenport and he died March 5, 1993 at home. He was a member of the Baptist church and Gulf Coast Masonic Lodge #272. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Edith and Lonnie Phillips; two grandsons and a granddaughter-in-law, Lance Ervin and Shirley Phillips and Kervin Phillips and fiancee, Karen; two granddaughters, Ava Feliece and Sharon Elaise; a godson, the Rev. Pleas Mayfield and his wife, Beverly; two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law, Violin G. Plummer and I. P. Plummer and Velma Plummer; a devoted cousin, Willie Alex; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his church family. Pallbearers will be the deacons of Mother Zion Baptist Church and members of Gulf Coast Masonic Lodge #272. Arrangements are with Green's Mortuary, Bay City.

Burial will follow at Union Baptist Cemetery in Pledger. Visitation hours are until 9 p. m. today at the Duncan-Roberts Funeral Home. Mrs. Elliott was born April 11, 1963, to Tyree and Truvene Griggs O'Neal in Topeka Kans., and died December 26, 1991, at Citizens Memorial Hospital in Victoria. She is survived by her husband, Michael Elliott Sr. of Victoria; two sons, Michael Elliott Jr. and Nicklous Elliott of Victoria; a stepdaughter, Chrystal Elliott of Victoria; her father, Tyree O'Neal of Boling; two sisters, Dana Haynes O'Neal of Lawton, Okla., and Tanya Marie O'Neal of El Campo; four brothers, Dale Edward O'Neal of Houston, Howard Wayne of Huntsville, Daryl Lloyd of Angleton and Thomas O'Neal of Lane City; four aunts, Vivian Turner, Elnora Caldwell and Geneva Williams of Phoenix, Ariz., and Vera Laws of Boling; four uncles, James Elmer Griggs and Phoenix, Ariz., Clifton Bogan of Boling, Richard O'Neal Sr. of Wharton and Roland O'Neal Sr. of Pledger; and a host of great-aunts, great-uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. James Emerson James Emerson Funeral services for Mr. James Emerson, 64, of Pledger, are planned for 1 p. m. Saturday at Union Baptist Church in Pledger, with the Rev. Larry Lewis officiating. Interment will be at Union Baptist Cemetery. A wake is set for 7 - 9 p. m. Friday, and the body will lie in state at the church from noon until 1 p. m. Saturday. Mr. Emerson, born Jan. 28, 1919, in Newgulf, died at home Jan. 18, 1964, at his residence. He was the son of Louis Emerson and Bulah Matthews Emerson, both deceased. Mr. Emerson never married and was a member of the Baptist church. He is survived by: two brothers, George Emerson and Allen Hampton of Houston; one sister, Mrs. Rena Mae Knight of Texas City; two aunts, Mrs. Gertha Falls of Texas City and Mrs. Ada Jones of Pledger; an uncle, Tim Matthews of Iago; and a host of nieces and nephews and friends. Pallbearers will include friends and members of the family. Funeral arrangements are with Green's Mortuary.

Bobby Lee Felder Funeral services for Bobby Lee Felder, 29, of Old Ocean, will be held 1 p. m. Wednesday at Union Baptist Church in Pledger with the Rev. C. C. Hayes officiating. Burial will be at Union Baptist Cemetery in Pledger. Visitation will be until 9 p. m. today at Duncan-Roberts Funeral Home, 1300 Duncan St. Mr. Felder was born July 12, 1963 in Old Ocean to Bobby Penrice and Evelyn Felder and died Jan. 7, 1993 at Sweeny Community Hospital in Sweeny from injuries received in an automobile accident. He was a member of the Baptist church and a resident of the Old Ocean community. He was a U. S. Army veteran and a foreman at Phillips 66 in Old Ocean. Survivors include his wife, Angela W. Felder of Old Ocean; a son, Adrian Wiley of Old Ocean; his parents, Bobby and Evelyn Penrice of Pledger; three sisters, Gwendolyn and Vivian Felder and Karetta Jackson of Pledger; three brothers, Ray Felder and Dale and Gale Penrice of Pledger; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Penrice, Raymond Felder and Minnie Stredic; his mother-in-law, Esther M. Davis of Old Ocean; his father-in-law, Willie Wiley of Sweeny, and a number of nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts. Pallbearers will be Larry Amey, Melvin Jackson, David Manning, William Baugh, Jeff Clark, Watson Townsend and Dwight Polk. Honorary pallbearers are Ray Felder, Dale Penrice, Gale Penrice, Ray Penrice, Garland Judkins, Roy Jackson and Gerald Tolbert. Arrangements are with Duncan-Roberts Funeral Home in Bay City.
