Rugeley Captain & Commanding Officer of Military Company called "Caney Rifles" do here by certify under oath that said Military Company was organized in the County of Matagorda in said State of Texas, that said Company belongs to the Cavalry arm of the service and the following are the names of the Officers and members of said Company at the date of this certificate; viz
