Miss Sarah Smith has just returned from a week's visit at Wadsworth with her sister Mrs. Davis.
 

Mrs. H. B. Hogan was a guest of Mrs. Watkins Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. B. R. Watkins was in town Wednesday morning shopping.

Mr. Alf McGehee and some more boys and girls went to the woods and Mr. McGehee had the sad accident of nearly cutting his finger off but is steadily improving.

Mrs. O. R. McMenamy, Mrs. Edgar Ellingston and Miss Nany and Sue McGehee were visitors of Miss Sarah Smith Monday afternoon.

Mr. V. S. Fisher happened to quite a sad accident while building his chicken house. He was on top when a rafter broke and down he came skinning his chin pretty badly but I won't tell what Grant said.

Miss Pearl Calhoun and sister, Mrs. Watkins, were visitors of Mrs. D. E. Smith Wednesday afternoon.

Mr. Charlie Smith has just finished planting his peanuts. They ought to come to a good stand as they were dropped by hand. Charlie's crops are all to a good stand and his corn has been plowed once and he also has about 20 acres in cotton coming up nicely.

Miss Sarah Smith and sister, Mrs. Fisher, were in town shopping Thursday.

We are glad to welcome our neighbor, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Mann, to our neighborhood.

The Editor just ought to come out and see how crops are growing. The whole country is green. The Midcoast country can't be beaten.

Annie Hillary spent the day with her grandmother Thursday.

Preaching Sunday night was well attended.

Rev. L. F. Hardy filled his appointment with us and he is also going to be with us for a week or more; to hold a revival meeting, beginning with last night services. Everybody cordially invited to attend. Services held at Sexton school house at 8 o'clock p.m., and we also want the prayers of the Christian people that this meeting may be a blessing to our neighborhood.
