G. M. Magill & Bro.
These are two nice men to do
business with and they will do as much of it in a given time as any
other two in Texas. The senior is a real
estate graduate of the hustling schools of Colorado, Kansas, and the
pushing West, and the junior is an apt scholar. Besides lands they
are excusive agents for the Bay City Townsite Company, and have also
a good list of suburban property and their motto is “Let no
prospector escape.” |

Bay City Grocery Company
This was the first wholesale house
established in Bay City, and under the able and progressive
management of Messrs. R. M. Wynne and G. B. Harris, it has prospered
from the start. Buy the end of their first six months in business
they had found it necessary to more than double their force of
employees, which indicates that they so please their customers that
they come back and bring others with them.

James Ramsey & Son
This hardware and implement firm
began business here the first of the current year, and they have in
eight short months built up a trade which necessitates the doubling
of their store room capacity. They carry whatever the trade demands
and sell at such prices as will command the trade. Look over their
ad and then go and look over their store. |

Ira G. Bond
This gentleman is not only one of
Bay City's leading business men, but is also one of her most
intelligent, forceful and useful citizens. He is an extensive dealer
in groceries and farm implements, and in his business as in all
other things, he is progressive, wide awake, up to date, and
liberal, a gentleman with whom it is a pleasure to deal. |
