Many were the hearts saddened by the untimely going of Elizabeth Rogers Schaal on April 2nd. Beth, as she was fondly called by her friends was born Oct. 28, 1921, in Palacios, and lived here practically all of her life. She attended the public school here from which she graduated, and then attended Texas A. & I. at Kingsville, receiving her B. A. degree.
