Funeral services for Alma Waechter, 93, of Palacios, were held on May 7 at the Woodlawn Funeral Home in Houston.
Alma was born on June 4, 1921 in Palestine, Texas to mother Mattie West Boyd and father Ephram Boyd and sister Alton Grady Boyd and she died May 3, 2015 while residing at the Grace Care of Katy.
Louise moved to Houston at the age of six weeks and attended Jeff Davis High School. Upon graduation, she went to work at Southwestern Bell Telephone Company where she met a group of lifelong friends. She was married twice; her first husband, Warren H. Raymond, was killed during the battle for Iwo Jima on March 3, 1942. She married Jack W. Waechter on February 5, 1949 and they moved to Palacios in early 1977.
Louise was active in the Presbyterian Church, Alpha Club, and several organizations around the area. As well, she was an avid bridge player and loved to fish and crab off the pier in front of their home. Louise moved to Katy in March 2014.
She is survived by her son Boyd Waechter and his wife Rebecca Waechter; grandson Eric Waechter and his wife Monica Waechter of Baton Rouge; and great grandson Cannon Hays Waechter and granddaughter Alden Elise Waechter.

one hour visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday May 7,

Donald Walden, age 77 of Palacios, were held on April 11 at the Trinity Baptist Church with Pastor Danny G. Perez officiating.
Interment followed at the Palacios City Cemetery with full military honors under the Marines Division of Houston, Texas and other Veterans of America.
Jere was born on August 14, 1937 in Houston, Texas to the late Edmund Bryan Walden and Geraldine Cunningham and he passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2015.
He served two tours of active duty in Vietnam and later retired from the U.S Marine Corps after 22 years of service with his final assignment as Gunnery Sergeant. He was also a past exalted ruler of the Elks Lodge 126 of Galveston, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Josephine Walden of Palacios; sisters Kathy Kausmall of Moody, Tx and Judy Honeycutt of Belton, TX; daughter, Peggy (Alex) Nemes of Palacios; sons, Jere Donald Walden Jr. of Palacios, Tim (Ina) Martinez of Palacios, Jerry Dean (Bodie) Martinez of Houston, and Eddie (Kathy) Martinez of Palacios. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his daughters Kimmie Rash and Susan Groat, son John B. Walden, brother Edmund Walden, grandson Les Wayne Rash Jr., and granddaughter Stephaine Marie Martinez.
Services were held under the direction of Artero Memorial Chapels in Port Lavaca.

He graduated from Industrial High School in 1999. Aside from caring for his family, he was an avid fisherman, loved being outdoors, loved taking everyone fishing, especially his wife and kids, and he never met an engine he couldn't repair. He leaves to cherish his many memories, a loving and devoted wife, Jennifer Walker; one daughter, Samara Walker; one son, Cayden Walker; parents, Benjamin and Dee Ann Walker and Nancy Bullock (Mickey); grandmothers, Bobbie Wymack and Patsy Anderson; father and mother-in-law, O. Dora Ellen Warn passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the age of 95 in Bay City, Texas. She was born on December 9, 1919 in Midfield, Texas to Horace C. Troutman and Mabel Rose Smith Troutman. She is survived by daughters Helen Pratt, Mary Layton (D. L.), Dorothy Havel, Lilly Di Stasi (Tony) and daughter-in-law Linda Warn. She also has 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 67 years, Charlie (Bill) Warn, sister Norma York and brothers Ralph Aikin, Henry, Howard, Fred, Donald and Harold, sons Charles and Billy Ray and a great grandson Michael Charron. Her family will always remember her as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Her many hobbies included quilting, cooking, doing various crafts and fishing. Elizabeth Ann Warnock (Liz), 54, of Cedar Lane, TX, left this world to be with our lord on April 23, 2015.
She was born daughter of William F. and Daisy L. McIlhenny of Lake Jackson on December 20, 1960, in the old Freeport Hospital. She was a graduate of Brazoswood High School, Brazosport College and the University of St. Thomas (Houston), where she majored in business. She entered into marriage with Ronald L. Warnock July 26, 1986, at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, in Lake Jackson. She obtained a theological degree through the Episcopal Church in 1989, and taught youth Sunday school for many years. She and Ronald transferred their membership to St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Bay City, when they moved to Cedar Lane. She loved her family, friends, church, and her dogs.
Elizabeth was preceded in dead by her parents; William and Daisy; and her brother, David McIlhenny.
Survivors include her husband, Ronald Warnock; children, James Warnock and Tiffany Warnock Strother; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her brother, Tim McIlhenny and family.
The family will receive friends and relatives from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday May 1, 2015, at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City TX.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday May 2, 2015, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church with the Rev. Brad Sullivan officiating.

Barbara Jean Warwick, 77, of Bay City, Texas, passed away
Monday, March 23, 2015.
She was born on April 14, 1937, in Houston, Texas, to Eugene
Bean and Mercy Slocum Bean. She grew up in Houston, where she
married her husband, Godfrey Neal Warwick.
Barbara previously lived in Freeport, Texas, and worked many
years as owner/operator of BJ’s Bargain Corner, in Clute, Texas.
Her hobbies included gardening, fishing and spending time with
family and friends. Her greatest joy was spending the day at
Matagorda Beach, fishing with her grandsons. Her smile and
courageous spirit will be greatly missed. She was always wanting
to do for others, even if it was hard on her physically.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, one daughter and
son-in-law, Kimberly and Randy Wied of Van Vleck; and her two
grandsons, Kasen and Kameron Wied.
A private family ceremony will be held at a later date.

Mrs. May Jordan Way, 93, a resident of Palacios, passed away May 23 at the Bay Villa Nursing Home. Survivors include numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren, including Mrs. Eloise Norman of San Jose, California, Mrs. Darcus Ueckert of Baytown, Texas, and Mrs. Elliot Way of New Orleans, Louisiana.
Funeral services will be held May 25 at 4:00 PM at Taylor Brothers Funeral Home, with Rev. J. R. Gwinn of Palacios Trinity Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in the Cedarvale Cemetery. Arrangements are with Taylor Brothers Funeral Home.

Mr. Nathan J. Weaver of Bay City died at the Veteran Hospital in Houston about 1:35 Wednesday morning. He had been in ill health for sometime. He has been a resident of Bay City for many years. He also has been a resident of Markham having come here in early childhood with his parents. Mr. Weaver was 65 years of age at the time of his death and had served in World War I. His wife, Mrs. Irene Weaver, preceded him in death about seven months ago. Funeral services were held from the Taylor Bros. Funeral home on Friday morning at 10 o'clock with burial in the Cedarvale cemetery with the Rev. Audrey Maxted officiating. He is survived by six sisters, Mrs. Herman Vezey of Sweeny, Mrs. J. B. Ryan and Mrs. Charles Adams of California, Mrs. Lester Keith of Cleveland, Mrs. J. A. Graves of Bastrop, Mrs. Chester Kee of Markham, and two brothers, B. B. Weaver of Arkansas and Charlie Weaver of Bay City, and a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends. All was done that earthly hands could do but when God says it is finished, we, who are left behind, must look up through our tears and say God's will be done for he knows best. Fannie M. Slone Welch, 88, passed away August 10, 2015 in Brownfield, Texas. She was born March 2, 1927 in Gulf, Texas to Frank E. Weaver and Georgia Mullins Weaver. She attended school in Gulf, Matagorda, Bay City and Blessing. She was a graduate of Massey Business College in Houston, Texas. Fannie Merle married Theodore (Ted) Wilson Slone July 6, 1944 at the Baptist Encampment in Palacios, Texas. They lived in Collegeport and Seadrift the in 1952 made their home in Edna, Texas where they lived until Ted’s death in 1985. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Edna, helping with many activities. She belonged to several clubs in Edna. She helped organize The Garden Club and was a Charter Member of the Cordie Whitfield Study Club which was organized in 1956 and continued to be a member until she moved in 1987. She was also a member of the Edna Art Guild and was proud that artist Dalhart Windberg was their instructor. She was an active member in the Aggie Mother’s Club while Ted, Jr. was attending Texas A&M. She loved traveling abroad and in the US with her children, as well as gardening (she loved her flowers) and birding. Once her children were all in school, she started working outside the home. She was a bookkeeper for a grain elevator one harvest, then went to work as Secretary of their church. She later worked for May’s Furniture Store in Edna, then worked for Kamin’s Furniture Store in Victoria, for seventeen years. Fannie Merle later married Don Welch and moved to Wharton, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Wharton and enjoyed singing in the choir. She was a volunteer at Wharton Manor for over twenty years, bringing the devotional for their Wednesday morning Bible studies. Due to health problems, she moved to Norman Oklahoma in 2007, to live near a daughter and later moved to Brownfield, Texas to live near another daughter. Fannie Merle is preceded in death by her parents; husband Theodore (Ted) Slone; sisters Loueen Simpson and Yvonne Kuykendall and brother Frank E. Weaver. She is survived by her children, Dr. Theodore (Ted) Slone, Jr. and wife Patti of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Frances (Frankie) Leona Walker and husband Gary of Plains, Texas, Catherine Darlene Mercer of Norman, Oklahoma and John Ralph Slone of Atlanta, Georgia; sisters Nola Guest of The Woodlands, Texas and Anne Carrington of San Marcos, Texas; nine grandchildren and twenty great- grandchildren and long-time family friend Roger Salz. The family would like to thank the wonderful caregivers at Cottage Village in Brownfield, that were so sweet and kind to Fannie Merle. The family would also like to thank Legacy of Love Hospice of Littlefield for their care, guidance and support. Church of The Nazarene and a resident of Bay City since 1974.

Memorial services for Mary Albert Griffith West, 59, of Palacios will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday (April 9) at the First Presbyterian Church in Palacios.
Mary was born October 3, 1955 to Albert and Billy Griffith in Rockport, TX and she passed away April 5, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family and closest friends.
Mary graduated from Rockport-Fulton High School in 1974 and went on to graduate from Sam Houston State University. She moved to Palacios in 1978 and in 1981 she married the love of her life Nicholas West. She taught second grade in Palacios for 29 years at Central Elementary. She was a founding member of the STN sorority and served proudly as a Trustee on the Palacios ISD school board. Always active in her community she served on the Palacios Area Fund Distribution Committee, a docent at the City by the Sea Museum, volunteer at the Palacios Community Hub and served as a Gatekeeper for the First Presbyterian Church in Palacios.
Mary, also lovingly known by many as Princess – even by her own grandchildren and many students - was a true friend, always ready to provide a much needed laugh or shoulder to cry on. She was perhaps the most revered story teller, of which many seemed to never end. She was strong, witty, compassionate and loving. She will be missed by all those whose life she blessed with her presence.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Nick, her parents and her sister Susan Blake Griffith.
Mary is survived by her son Ryan Griffith West and beloved daughter-in-law Brandi, daughter Billye West and son Chris West; grandchildren Noah Ryan West, Madelyn Rose West, Elainna Ruth West, Michelle Nicole West, Kalynn Gibbs, Steven Valentine and Mercedes Valentine; step-son Randy Orr; sisters Sally (Eddie) Sikes, Lucy (Rob) Ziegler; and her precious feline companions Chloe, Flowah and Not My Cat.

White of Bay City; one son, Robert Earl White of Port Lavaca; three sisters, Mrs. Matt K. Ottis of Wadsworth, Mrs. C. P. Williams of Matagorda, and Mrs. A. M. Franz Sr. of Bay City; one brother, Audell W. White of Palacios, and four grandchildren.

James Franklin White, Sr., 75, of 921 Ave. H in Bay City, died February 4, 1977 in Gulf Coast Hospital in Wharton, Texas. He was born November 6, 1902, in Saltillo, Tennessee. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Celia M. White of Bay City; his daughter, Ruby Lee Sellers of Victoria; sons, James F. White Jr., of Sugarland and James E. White of Dickinson; sister, Grace Burnham of Oklahoma; brothers, Dewey and Hardey of Oklahoma, Hershel and Rube of Tennessee; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Monday, February 7, at Taylor Brothers Funeral Home at 2:30 PM. The Rev. Marvin Moore and the Rev. Millard Hill officiated. Burial was in Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers were G. A. Smith, Samuel R. Starks, Neil Blackwell, Eugene H. Sherry, Wyatt Ashcraft, and Wade Ashcraft. Arrangements were with Taylor Brothers Funeral Home.

Ronald Wesley Wilkins, 79, of Arkadelphia, Arkansas, died Thursday, April 23, 2015, peacefully, with his wife (of 58 years) by his side. He was born on January 1, 1936. He was a graduate from Conroe High School. He was the owner of Peoples Laundry and Dry Cleaners. He was a very active member of the National Dry Cleaning Association and the Texas Laundry and Dry Cleaning Association. He was a former member of First Baptist Church. He was the owner of 13 antique cars, which he enjoyed driving in various parades in town. He leaves behind his wife, Carolyn; son Phillip; two daughters, Leslie (James) White of Arkadelphia and Dr. Nancy (Roy) Benham of Baton Rouge, LA; four grandchildren, Matthew, Rachel, Mary Beth White and Grace Benham; sister, Clarice Small of Conroe, TX; and three nephews. James Preston Williams, 76, of Bay City, passed away April 7, 2015. He was born October 29, 1938 in Bay City, Texas to Charles Phillip and Dorothy White Williams.
James enjoyed hunting, fishing and going to the beach when younger. He attended Wharton County Junior College after completing high school. He worked on a tugboat for Matagorda Shell and at Texas Gulf Sulphur. James was also employed by Montgomery Ward, Phillips Petroleum and the Texas Penitentiary System. He moved back to Bay City upon retiring in 2005.
In 1985, James married Maria Graciela Ortiz. One of his often shared memories was how Maria played her guitar while they frequently sat on Matagorda Beach. He knew many country roads in different areas of Texas and enjoyed riding around. James loved playing board games, cards and dominoes, and would tease and argue with anyone who would listen.
James is preceded in death by his parents and brother Charles Williams. He is survived by his wife Maria G. Williams; daughter Kelly Lee Schaefer and husband Michael of Prairie Lea, Texas; son Clinton Phillip Williams of Luling, Texas; grandchildren Daniel Phillip Williams, Janna Marie Clay, Staceyann Mae Williams, Wesley Lee Daniels, Jessye Lane Daniels; great grandson Hayden Christopher Gonzales and nieces Susan Williams Parish and Melinda Williams.
The family will receive visitors from 5pm-7pm Thursday April 9 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at Apostolic Pentecostal Church at 10:00am Friday April 10 with Rev. James Stark Williams was born in Illinois on February 9, 1873. He died at his home in Palacios, Texas, August 8, 1937, at the age of 64 years. He grew to manhood in Kansas and Oklahoma. In 1905 he came to Matagorda County, Texas, and engaged in rice farming near Markham, Texas. He married Miss Viola Jordan, August 8, 1907. Thirty years later, on that same date, he passed on after several years struggle with heart trouble. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, James Bruce Williams of Merrill, Oregon; a brother A. T. Williams and a sister Mrs. Lottie Dahlem of Wakita, Oklahoma; a brother John Williams of Medford, Oklahoma; two daughters, Mrs. Lorena Plant and Mrs. Margaret Sexton of Galveston, Texas; and five grand-children. He was a member of the Methodist church, also of the Woodmen of the World. For a good many years he was manager of the Farmers Canal Company at Blessing, Texas, having charge of their rice irrigation. This position he resigned last March on account of ill health and moved to Palacios. "Jim" Williams has lived his life here on herth. For the past five years he has struggled against heart trouble to keep on at his daily work. Truly one can say of him, he has fought a good fight, he has finished the course, he has left his work on earth well done. Funeral services were held at the Palacios Funeral Home, Tuesday at 9:30 a. m., conducted by Rev. Gibbons. A quartette from the Methodist Church composed of Miss Dorothy Lee Curtis, Mrs. Ray Phillips, C. B Viets and J. E. Robinson sand "City Four Square" and "Sometimes We'll Understand." Ralph Allen Williams was born near Steamboat Rock, Iowa April 4, 1880 and passed away at his home in Palacios, Texas October 13, 1956. On December 10, 1902 he was married to Edna M. Roberts of Eldora, Iowa. Most of his early life was spent farming in Iowa and Colorado. He was a member of the Baptist Church of Oakwood, Iowa. Mr. Williams and his family moved to Palacios from Iowa in August 1919. In 1930 he started in the real estate business and continued in this business until his death. In 1923, he and the late Albert Miller entered the theatre business. In 1929 he entered into a partnership with J. L. Deutsch and the late A. C. Goddin and they built what is now the Hollywood Theatre. Funeral services were held Monday, October 15, at 2:30 p. m. in the Palacios Funeral Home with Rev. John Brannon officiating. Burial was in the Palacios Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Russell of Palacios and Lance of San Antonio; one grandson, Ronald of Blessing, his cousin, Ann Kellum and a number of nieces and nephews.

Robert Louis Williams
Robert Louis Williams, 63, of Pasadena, Texas, journeyed home, March 28, 2015.
Born January 23, 1952, Robert was a caring father, kind-hearted friend and an expert mechanic, employed at Thunderbolt Motors and Transmission Shop, in Pasadena. He is survived by his four children, Robbie Williams Goodman, Robert L. “Bobby” Williams Jr., Belinda “Belle” Williams Cortinas, and James Williams; mother, Billie Jo Williams of Cleveland; brothers, Bert Williams and Bruce Williams, and sister, Brenda Williams, all of Fort Worth, Texas; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bert Williams; and grandparents, J.C. and Marian Slone of Bay City, Texas.
A memorial service will beheld at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Harvest Time Church, FM 2540 South, Bay City, Texas.

Lila Wilson, 85, former resident of Bay City, died September 3 in Houston, Texas. Survivors include his nephew, R. F. Winston, and his niece, Susan Marie Bain, both of Houston.
Graveside service will be held Friday, September 5 at 2:00 PM, in Cedarvale Cemetery, with the Rev. Emmett Adair of First Presbyterian Church of Angleton officiating. Local arrangements are with Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.

Patsy Ruth Delcore Wolfe went to
Heaven on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the age of 77 years old.
She was born on July 9, 1936 to the late Irma and Herman
Thornhill in Columbia, Louisiana. She married Elwood Calvin
“EC” Wolfe on March 11, 1955. They lived in Bay City, Texas
for the majority of their marriage. Patsy was a member of
Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Bay City and loved her
church dearly. She would attend service any time the doors
were open. She was a woman who believed in God and would
always sing his praises. Pasty, affectionately known as Mema,
adored her family and always made them her first priority.
She loved cooking and baking for them and having her house
filled with grandchildren. She also loved to sit outside on
the front porch in her rocking chair. She had a passion for
flowers. She would spend time every day planting and weeding
her flower beds. Patsy loved to read and helped to instill
that love in her grandchildren as well. She always had a new
book on her side table and was often reading her favorite
book, the Bible.
Patsy is survived by her
husband: EC Wolfe and three children: Debbie Winkenwerder
and husband Jerry, Danny Wolfe and wife Jeanette, Dale Wolfe
and wife Winnie, ten grandchildren, and fourteen
great-grandchildren.
The Family will receive visitors
from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at the funeral
home. The funeral service will be 10:30 AM Wednesday, July
9, 2014 at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Bay City with
Rev. Kevin Blake officiating. Interment will follow at

Elwood
"Easy" C. Wolfe Elwood C. “Easy” Wolfe, 89, of Bay City passed away November 29, 2020. He was born April 21, 1931 in Ohio to the late Henry Wolfe and Lucille Woodward Wolfe. He served in the US Army from 1952-1953. He retired from Celanese Chemical Plant and was a member of the Bay City Volunteer Fire Department. He had a Photo Developing Studio in his garage and was a well-known photographer for the Bay City VFD and of local weddings. He could also be found around Bay City taking photos of local events. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Patsy Wolfe, his sister Shirley Wolfe Spencer and a son Dale Wolfe, Sr. Survivors include his children Debbie Winkenwerder and Danny Wolfe; grandchildren Morgan, Stacy, Danielle, Derek, Dale, Jr., Ashley, Jacob, Shannon, Cody, Mike and Dusty; 21 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and his best friend Don Dykes, whom he still called every week. Visitation will be from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM Thursday, December 3, 2020 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Faye Wood, 83,
passed away on May 2, 2015.
Faye was born at
home on December 17, 1931, in Winchester, Mississippi, to the
late William LaFayette Nicholas and Gladys Clementine Cobb. Faye
graduated salutatorian from Bucatunna High School in
Mississippi. She married William Dice Wood on September 14,
1951, in Waynesboro, Mississippi, and had been married for 61
years, before he died on November 16, 2012. Bill and Faye lived overseas most of their married life, retiring in Roswell, New Mexico, then Waco, Texas, and finally settling in Bay City, Texas, to be near family.
Faye was a member
of the Presbyterian Church. She was an avid bridge player and
made many new friends, playing bridge here in Bay City. When
living in London, England, Faye was a past President of the
Petroleum Wives Club. Faye was also a past member of the Captain
E. S. Rugeley Chapter 542 of the United Daughters of the
Confederacy. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren very
much, even though many of them lived out of state.
Faye is preceded
in death by her parents; and her husband.
She is survived by
her four children, Janet Wood Hickl and Paul of Bay City, George
Pryor Wood of Perpignan, France, Ralph Rutledge Wood and Sarah
of West Friendship, Maryland and Paul Nicholas Wood and Christel
of Sweden; grandchildren, Megan Hickl Pate and Adam of Bay City,
Adam Hickl of Victoria, Emily and Darcy Wood of West Friendship,
Maryland, Emma Wood of Des Moines, Iowa and Nicholas Wood of
Sweden; sister, Gloria Alice Davis of Destrahan, Louisiana; and
many nieces and nephews.
The family will
receive visitors from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, May 7, 2015,
at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City, Texas.
Graveside services
with the family will be at 10 a.m., Friday, May 8, 2015, at
Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, Texas.

William Dice Wood, 86, passed away on November 16, 2012. Bill was born on June 6, 1926 in Elgin, Texas to the late George Pryor and Clara Ophelia Torrey Wood. Bill graduated from High School in Corpus Christi and from the University of Texas with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. He married Mildred LaFaye (Faye) Nicholas in Waynesboro, Mississippi and had been married for 61 years. Bill worked for 25 years for Socony Vacuum which later became Mobil Oil, working in Venezuela, the Philippines, Australia, The Netherlands and England. He later went to work for NAPC in Northern Greece and then Union Texas Petroleum in Pakistan and Indonesia. Bill was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution as well as a member of the Masonic Lodge, York Rite and Knights Templar. Bill is survived by his wife and four children, Janet Wood Hickl and Paul of Bay City, George Pryor Wood and Claudia of Austin, Ralph Rutledge Wood and Sarah of West Friendship, Maryland and Paul Nicholas Wood of Estonia; grandchildren Megan Hickl Pate and Adam of Sweeny, Adam Hickl of Victoria, Emily and Darcy Wood of West Friendship, Maryland and Emma Wood of Clive, Iowa; and sister Robbie Davis of Tyler. Hazel Marie Wren, 73, of Wadsworth passed away Sept. 1, 2011. She was born Oct. 29, 1937 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Vern Wooden & Violet Lefont Wooden. She is survived by daughters Georgeann (George) Bullington of Freeport, Crystal (Randy) Parker of Sweeny & Cindy (Bruce) Mitchell of Hitchcock; sons Ricky McClelland of LaPorte, Bradley McClelland of Wadsworth, Steve (Shelley) McClelland of Alvin & Bobby (Tricia) McClelland of Santa Fe; 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6PM to 8PM Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev.
