George Herbert Chadwick Funeral services for George Herbert Chadwick, 63, of Bay City will be held 2 p. m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Welch officiating. Burial will be at Cedarvale Cemetery. Mr. Chadwick was born Nov. 2, 1928 in Carthage, Miss. to Ruth and George Hartnese Chadwick and he died Sept. 14, 1992 at Matagorda General Hospital. He was a member of First United Methodist Church and a resident of Bay City since 1961. Survivors include his mother, Ruth Marton Chadwick of Carthage, Miss.; two daughters, Charlotte Blanks of Wilson, S. C. and Patricia Dixon of Bay City; a son, George A. Chadwick of Bay City; a brother, Almon Chadwick of Carthage, Miss. and eight grandchildren. Arrangements are with Taylor Brothers Funeral Home in Bay City Daily Tribune, September 14, 1992 Barbara Eugene Chadwick Funeral services for Barbara Eugene Chadwick of Bay City are pending with Taylor Brothers Funeral Home, Bay City. She died Feb. 12, 1990 at Matagorda General Hospital. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Arrangements are with Taylor Brothers Funeral Home, Bay City.

Final Rites Held This Afternoon for Mrs. Mary E. Chambless Mrs. Mary Evelyn Chambless of Sargent, age 36 years, 10 months, 26 days, died Tuesday morning. She is survived by her husband, Mr. L. Chambless of Sargent; five daughters, Mrs. Mildred Beatty of Wadsworth, Mary Lou, Martha May, Columbia Fay and Thelma Rose Chambless; four sons, James, Martin, Melvin LeRoy, William Henry and George Ray Chambless of Sargent; seven sisters, Mrs. John Shelby of Brazoria, Mrs. Frank Sass of Baltimore, Md., Mrs. Henry Janice, Mrs. Harry Janice of Bay City, Mrs. Carl Alexander, Mrs. Earl Mitchell and Miss Vernice Loos of Wadsworth, and three brothers, Walter and Joe Loos of Wadsworth and Marcello Loos of Bay City. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 3 p. m. at the Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with the Rev. Mr. Rollo Rilling of the First Christian Church officiating. Taylor Bros., are in charge of funeral arrangements.

Clements, age 57 years, 8 months and 5 days, died at the family residence at Cedar Lane, Texas, Tuesday evening at 5:20 PM. He is survived by: his wife, Mrs. T. J. Clements; five daughters, Mrs. B. L. Hollis and Mrs. O. L. Whitlesey of Groveton, Texas, Mrs. Vera Wilbur of Big Wells, Texas, Mrs. Susie Klobedans and Mrs. Zula Crenshaw of Cedar Lane, Texas; and four sons, C. T. Clements of Sargent, Texas, W. J. Clements of Dilley, Texas, J. and I. R. Clements of Cedar Lane, Texas; six sisters, all in Alabama, and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Clements came to Matagorda County in the fall of 1917 and located on his farm near Cedar Lane. He was a native of Alabama and came to Texas in 1883 where he made his home and reared his family. Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2:00 PM, at the Cedar Lane schoolhouse. Reverend Bird of Ganado will officiate. Burial will be in Cedarvale Cemetery under the direction of Taylor Bros.
