Mrs. Josie Ella Thompson, age 86 of Crockett passed away Oct. 6, 1980 in Crockett. She was born in Houston County on July 6, 1894. Mrs. Thompson was a member of the Congregational Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Jurek of Bay City and Mrs. Nena Toms of Palestine and Crockett, one brother, Steve Milliken of Lovelady; one sister, Mrs. Nora Knox of Lovelady; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held Tuesday Oct. 7 at 2:30 p.m. in the Waller Family Chapel with Rev. Ross officiating. Interment was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Lovelady.

Travis Thompson, age 82, of Crockett passed away December 21 [1977] in Crockett. Mr. Thompson was born on March 31, 1895 in Madison County. He was a member of the First Methodist Church in Lovelady.
Funeral services were held Thursday, December 22
at 2 p.m. in the Waller Family Chapel with Rev. Larry Jameson
officiating. Interment followed in the Bartee Cemetery in Lovelady. Picture
