Services are pending for an 18-year-old Bay City youth, Ronald John Johnson, an airman recruit attached to the Naval Air Station at San Diego. Johnson, whose parents are Mr. And Mrs. Charles Johnson of 2001 Lewis [Lois] Street, was fatally injured Monday in a motorcycle accident, while traveling on the Ensenada-Tijuana highway in Mexico. The youth was hospitalized at Ensenada Hospital, and was taken after death to San Diego to await burial instructions from his parents. Arrangements are pending at Taylor Brothers Funeral Home, where the body will be brought. Johnson was a member of the Catholic Church.

JOHNSON, Mrs. Ethel, a resident of Bay City, passed away September 12 in Matagorda General Hospital, at age 65. She is survived by her husband, Charlie Johnson and one sister. Services will be held at Taylor Brothers Chapel, September 16, at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Conrad Winborn will officiate and interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Wayland Midgett, Willie Svetlik, Ray Svetlik, Arnold Rodriguez, J.M. Morgan and Abb Plant.

Funeral services for Charles Johnson, 95, of Palacios will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Taylor Brothers Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. W.E. Dugger, Jr. Officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park, Van Vleck.
Mr. Johnson was born Jan 19, 1892*, in Wynette, Ill., to Peter C. And Hattie Roberts Johnson and died May 2, 1987, at Leisure Lodge Nursing Home, Palacios.
He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include a sister, Lucille Jones of Knightstown, Ind.
Arrangements are with Taylor Brothers Funeral Home, Bay City.
