Henry Schwartz, formerly of this city, died last night in San Antonio, after an illness of several months, and will be buried at Hallettsville, his former home. He was a member of the firm of Schwartz Bros., stock dealers, of Bay City and Schulenburg. Besides his wife, Mr. Schwartz leaves three brothers, Max, Leopold and Julius, and one sister, Mrs. R. H. Knolle, of La Grange. Henry was well known in Bay City, having been associated with his brothers in the horse and mule business for several years. Several months ago he suffered a nervous breakdown and was taken to a sanitarium in San Antonio, where he remained until his death. He was born in Schulenburg June 3, 1876, and died June 5, 1916. The funeral will be held under the auspices of the Jewish rites in Hallettsville.
