Arnold Fleming Livers was born December 8, 1885 in Ionia, Jewell County, Kansas. His parents were John Arnold Livers (February 11, 1838 - December 6, 1922) and Ada Rebecca Fleming (July 19, 1854 - February 9, 1931).
Siblings of Arnold included:
Arnold was a charter member of the First Church Federated in Collegeport. The 1910 register of charter members included the names of Arnold Livers and his parents, J. A. Livers and Mrs. J. A. Livers. Mrs. A. R. [ J. A.] Livers was a member of the Collegeport Woman's Club and she joined on March 2, 1911. An additional membership listing for a Mrs. Livers was listed on March 28, 1912. On August 4, 1914, Arnold married Cena Roberta Christopher in Red River Parish, Louisiana. Cena, daughter of John P. Christopher (1859 - 1932) and Eleanor S. Sams (1864 - 1934) was born February 27, 1888 in Missouri. She died September 12, 1967 in Mankato, Jewell County, Kansas.
Children of Arnold and Cena were: While living in Collegeport, the members of the Livers family were active in church and social events. Arnold and his family were still living in Collegeport when registeredr for the World War I draft on September 12, 1918. They were living in Little Rock, Arkansas when Roberta was born on June 23, 1919.

Arnold F. Livers, who was married back in 1914 to
Cena R. Christopher, of Hutchinson, is the father of two boys, aged
seven and five, and one daughter, age three. "They are normal,
healthy children, ready for a laugh or a cry or a fuss at a moment's
notice," their father says. The Livers family live at 5131 Lee
avenue, Little Rock, Arkansas, and Mr. Livers is employed by the
Southwestern Bell Telephone company there. |

Children:
Charldean Livers, 80, died Aug. 10, at the Platte County Memorial Hospital, Wheatland Wyo. She was born March 21, 1922 in Ionia, the daughter of Charles and Elpha Pearl (Phillips) Holloway. She gradated from the Ionia High School in 1940, and married Christopher Wilroy Livers September 23, 1941 in Ionia. She attended Bible College in Enid, Okla., and served in the ministry with her husband in Assembly of God Churches in Nebraska and Wyoming until 1980. She was a resident of Wheatland since 1967. Survivors include five children: Glenn, Lincoln, Neb.; John, Cheyenne, Wyo.; James, Ruth Hassler and Kent, all of Wheatland; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Charldean was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on Oct. 23, 1980, two sisters, Beth Fowler and Maxine Mulkey, and three brothers, Lewis, Raymond and Willis Holloway. Services were Aug. 12 at Assembly of God Church, Wheatland, with Pastor Dwight Dean officiating. Interment will be in the Community Cemetery, Ionia. The Platte Funeral Chapel, Wheatland, was in charge of the arrangements. Jewell County Record, August 15, 2002

at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colo.
James Joseph Livers James Joseph “Jim” Livers, 65, died March 8 at Kindred Transitional and Rehabilitation Center in Cheyenne. He was born July 4, 1947, in Grand Island, Neb., to Christopher W. and Charldean F. (Holloway) Livers. He graduated high school in 1965 in Stapleton, Neb. He married Marilyn Johnson in October 1969 after meeting her at Central Bible College in Springfield, Mo. In 1972, they moved to Wheatland. He worked in construction and later for the Wyoming State Highway Department for 12 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and the outdoors. He served as a Sunday school teacher, a youth leader and a deacon in the churches he attended throughout his life. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Marilyn of Wheatland; a daughter, Deborah of Philadelphia; a son, Timothy of Cheyenne; and brothers, Glenn of Lincoln, Neb., John of Cheyenne and Kent of Wheatland. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ruth Hassler. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Wheatland United Methodist Church. Interment will be at Wheatland Cemetery. Industrial League Anniversary Dr. Livers then read a poem of his own composition. A ladies' quartette consisting of Misses Leech and Morris and Mesdames Logan and Elmer sang "Meet Me at the Fountain." Everyone was so well pleased that they responded with an encore. Banquet at Collegeport Collegeport, Texas, January 27.--The members of the old men's Bible class of the First church of Collegeport Sunday school tendered a banquet to the young men's class and a number of invited guests Wednesday evening, the occasion being the acknowledgment of the elder men that they had been defeated, in a spirited effort to build up the largest class attendance before the old year had closed. There were ninety men at the sumptuous table, and a game dinner was served by the Woman's union, which was perfectly appointed in every detail. The toastmaster, Rev. M. A. Travis, pastor of the church, spoke words encouragingly and in touch with the great Men and Religion Movement that is claiming the attention of laymen everywhere, and fittingly introduced the speakers. There were pleasant, uplifting, witty and encouraging responses from those called upon, including Rev. Dr. Tenney of Oberlin, Ohio, who is one of the most interesting men it has been the privilege of people in this part of the South to hear; Hon. S. P. Sicks, formerly of the Indiana legislature; J. W. Hansel, Abbott Kone, Edward Leach, Earnest Livers and E. C.
