Dr. George Lipsitt
Dr. George Edwin Lipsitt (10 Oct 1883 - 20 Jun 1943), son of Patrick
Bannon "Banny" Lipsitt (07 Jun 1859 - 07 Jan 1945) and Clarissa
Belle Cordelia "Clara" Burnham Lipsitt (11 Jun 1860 - 21 Sep 1932),
was born in St. Mary's, Ontario, Canada and died in Toronto,
Ontario, Canada. His siblings were Ethel Violetta Lipsitt Brown and
Ernest Albert Lipsitt. Dr. Lipsitt married Jean Irene "Jennie"
Shields (30 Jun 1890 - 22 Mar 1972) on April 17, 1912 at York,
Ontario, Canada. Jean was the daughter of John W. Shields and Jennie
Donnelly Shields.

Dr. Lipsitt purchased lots 9 and 10 in Block 10
in Collegeport in the spring of 1910. He also had an option of lots
8 and 9 in Block 43.

Dr. G. Edwin Lipsitt, our genial
and popular druggist, has sold the City Pharmacy to Mr. F. D.
Everson, who takes possession November 1st. It is rumored that the
Doctor will engage in the drug trade in Blessing. Reprinted in the

Dr. G. E. Lipsitt and F. D. Everson invoiced the Collegeport
pharmacy stock of drugs, etc., on Tuesday and Wednesday. Mr. Everson
buying, Dr. Lipsitt will go to Blessing to engage in the drug
