Arrived in Baltimore, Maryland in July 1819 A John Frederick Hutner married Maria Francesca Driscoll on July 6, 1824 in Baltimore, Maryland. It is unknown if it was Dr. Huttner. Dr. Hultner [Huttner] was enumerated in the household of Galen Hodges in Matagorda in 1850, which indicates he was living at the Colorado House. He was 60 years old and was born in Alsace. John F. Huttner received a patent on October 9, 1850 for 351.60 acres in Medina County, Bexar District.

1871 England Census Died at age 80 and was buried August 25, 1871 at All Souls' Cemetery aka Kensal Green Cemetery The Last Will and Testament of John Frederick Huttner I John Frederick Huttner late of Texas in the United States of America, but now residing at No. 30. Gloucester Place, Hyde Park, London, in the Kingdom of Great Brittian, do make this my Will. I give devise and bequeath unto "Thaddeus Hyatt" late of Kansas but now residing at No 30. Gloucester Place, London, his heirs, executors administrators and assigns, All of my Real and Personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever, and of what nature kind or quality soever, but upon the Trusts and for the ends intents and purposes hereinafter declared; (that is to say) Upon Trust that the Trustee for the time being of this my will shall hold and manage the same. First: for the benefit during her life time of my Mother-in-Law, "Mrs. Grant" now residing at "Passy, Paris," in the "Empire of France." --- Secondly: and after her decease to hold and manage the same for the benefit of my kind friend Mrs. Forrester, wife of Thos. H. Forrester, now residing at No. 4 me de la Tour, Passy Paris, France. Thirdly: after her decease to hold and manage the same for the benefit of the children of the said Thaddeus Hyatt. It being my desire that my said Trustee shall do with my said effects whatever in his judgement will best serve the interests of my said Mother-in-law, "Mrs. Grant," my friend Mrs. Forrester and my dearly beloved little friends the said children of the said "Thaddeus" this my "will" being intended to clothe my said "Trustee" with full power to sell or otherwise dispose of my said effects in any manner he may think most advisable. --------------------------- In Witness Whereof I have to this my Will, set my hand and seal this Tenth day of November 1869. ------------- J. Lucy Lake ------------ I George Nurse, formerly of No 30 Gloucester Place Hyde Park in the County of Middlesex in England and afterwards and now of 133 Whitfield Street Fitzroy Square, London, England domestic servant and of the age of Thirty years, so hereby make solemn oath and depose as follows: 1st On the tenth day of November, in the year one thousand eight hundred and sixty nine I and Lucy Lake then of No 30 Gloucester Place aforesaid, and afterwards and now of 66 Gloucester Gardens Hyde Park, in the said County of Middlesex, spinster and of the age of Twenty One & more years were present together at No 30 Gloucester Place aforesaid with John Frederick Huttner known to me as the testator mentioned and described in his hereunto annexed last Will and Testament, and who is since deceased and I and the said Lucy Lake there and there saw the said John Frederick Huttner sign and declare to be his last "Will" the said last Will and Testament. 2nd The said John Frederick Huttner, at the time he so signed and declared to be his last "Will" the said annexed last Will and Testament was twenty one years of age and was in perfect possession of his right mind and understanding and empowered to make and execute a "Will" 3rd The signature "J. F. Huttner" subscribed at the foot or end of said Last Will and Testament, opposite to the letters L. S. enclosed in a circular bracket there appearing is in the real and proper handwriting of the said John Frederick Huttner and the signature "Lucy Lake" and "George Nurse" subscribed to the attestation to the due execution by the said John Frederick Huttner of his said last Will and Testament and therein within are in the real and proper handwriting of myself this deponent and of the said Lucy Lake respectively and were subscribed as witnesses to the due execution by the said John Frederick Huttner of his said last Will and Testament and at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other. 4th That the said John Frederick Huttner departed this life about the 28th day of August 1871 at London, England. I, Joshua Nunn, Vice and Deputy Consul General of the United States of America for Great Brittian and Ireland at London do hereby make known and certify to all whom it may concern that Joshua Nunn before whom the annexed Affidavit of Lucy Lake was made as appears by his signature thereto is a London Commissioner to administer Oaths in Common Law, practising in the City of London aforesaid, duty commissioned and authorized to receive Affidavits and that to all acts by him so done, full faith and credit are, and ought to be given in Indicataure and thereout.
