096o10.186 W Services Conducted For Mrs. F. L. Jenkins Wednesday Morning Funeral services were held Wednesday morning from the Taylor Brothers Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. F. L. Jenkins, 72, of Collegeport. Officiants at the services were Robert L. Craig and W. E. Coffman. Burial was in Collegeport, with Taylor Brothers in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Jenkins, a long-time resident of the county, passed away Tuesday morning. She is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Lottie Knight of Centerville , Mrs. Carrie Corporon of Collegeport; Mrs. Ruby Wells of Collegeport, and Mrs. Bessie Ware of Collegeport. Four sons, Joe Frank of Collegeport, Austin of Centerville, Julian of Palacios, and Pat of Collegeport; one sister, Mrs. Paul Walkup of Gould, Oklahoma; three brothers, Jessie Duncan of Kilgore, Frank Duncan of Palacios, and Wesley Duncan of San Antonio. Funeral Services Held In Collegeport For Mrs. Annie Bell
Mr. Robert Craig and Mr. Bill Coffman of the Bay City Church of Christ officiated this morning at funeral services for Mrs. Annie Bell, 72, of Collegeport, who died at the Matagorda General Hospital Tuesday morning.
Mrs. Bell is survived by her husband, F. L. Bell; four daughters, Mrs. Lottie Knight of Centerville, Mrs. Carrie Corporon of Bay City; Mrs. Ruby Wells and Mrs. Bessie Ware of Collegeport and four sons, Joe Frank and Pat Jenkins of Collegeport, Austin of Centerville and Julian of the Prairie Community.
Also surviving Mrs. Bell are her sister, Mrs. Claud Walker are her sister, Mrs. Claud Walker of Gould, Okla. and brothers, Jessie Duncan of Collegeport. Frank Duncan of Palacios and Wesley Duncan of San Antonio.
Services were conducted at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home and interment was in the Collegeport Cemetery.

Final Rites Held In Collegeport For F. L. Jenkins, 75
Funeral services were held at the Taylor Brothers Funeral Home
Thursday for Freland Lawrence Jenkins, 75, who died June 7 at his home
in Collegeport. He had resided in Collegeport for 36 years.
He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. W. B. Knight of
Centerville, Mrs. Ira Corporon, Mrs. R. L. Wells, and Mrs. Clyde Ware,
all of Collegeport; four sons, Joe F. and P. E. of Collegeport, Julian
A. of Palacios, and Austin L. of Centerville; two sisters, Mrs. Frank
Palton of San Antonio and Mrs. Joe Pollard of Dilley; two brothers, J.
M. Jenkins and A. P. Jenkins of Madisonville.
Interment was in

M. W. Kopecky, merchant at Collegeport, succumbed to an illness Monday

Martin William Kopecky Mr. Martin William Kopecky, aged 64 years and 7 days, passed away at the family residence in Collegeport, Monday, Aug. 28, 1937. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Kopecky, four daughters, Mrs. Lillie Calk, of Wadsworth; Mrs. Alvina Laslie, Palacios; Mrs. Annie Wooster, Baytown; Mrs. Emilie Ackerman, Collegeport and one son, Raymond Kopecky, of Sweeney. Funeral services were held in Collegeport Community Church, Tuesday at 10 o’clock, with Rev. G. F. Gillespie officiating. Burial was made in the Collegeport Cemetery under the direction of the Palacios Funeral Home. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved. community was saddened Monday morning, August 28th by the sudden death
of M. W. Kopecky at his home here. Mr. and Mrs. Kopecky came here a
few years ago and started a grocery store where they were still
located.
Funeral
services were held at the Community House Tuesday morning and burial
