Cynthia Ann
Petter Phillips Cynthia Ann Petter Phillips, 56, of Bay City went to be with her Lord and Savior after a six-year battle with pancreatic cancer on Friday, November 2, 2012. She was born January 12, 1956 in El Campo to Otto and Virginia Jalufka Petter. Cynthia was a loving and dedicated wife and loved her children, grandchildren, family and friends more than they knew. She cared deeply for her Church family on Nichols Street and was saddened as she became less involved with church activities and projects, especially the Thursday afternoon games at Elaine’s house. Cynthia loved the outdoors in many ways, including fishing, hunting and gardening. When she could not get outdoors, she enjoyed painting, arts and crafts and cooking. Cynthia also kept her husband of 39 years and 10 months well supplied with hunting and fishing gear and many tools that he did not know he would need for those projects around the house. Cynthia will be greatly missed, but through the Grace Of Jesus Christ we will meet again in a far better place. She is survived by: her husband, David Elmer Phillips of Bay City; mother, Virginia Petter of El Campo; daughter, Sandra Phillips of Lubbock; son David and Renne Phillips of West Columbia; two brothers, Douglas and Marsha Petter of Bay City and Thomas and Ann Petter of Spicewood, Texas; nine grandchildren, David Ricks, Heather, Audrey, and D.
