Oros, Jessie, 33, passed away this morning at M. D. Anderson Hospital in Houston. Survivors include wife, Rosa Oros of Bay City; one daughter, Amelia Oros of Bay City; three sisters, Mrs. Petra Ortis of Harlingen, Anita Oros of San Benito, and Maria Oros of Bay City; four brothers, Santiago and Sebastian of Bay City and Candelario and Juan of San Benito. Rosary will be held at 8 p. m. tonight at Taylor Brothers Funeral chapel. Services have been tentatively set for 4 p. m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church with the Rev. Richard Jeffery officiating. Burial will be in Cedarvale Cemetery. Services under the direction of Taylor Brothers Funeral Home.

Michele Ann Pawlosky, 46, of Bay City, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2009.

She was born June 16, 1963 in Landstuhl, Germany to Doyle Benard Volkmer and Ute Lauer Volkmer. She has been a life long resident of Bay City, a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church of Bay City, and a Registered Nurse working the operating rooms at Matagorda General Hospital.

She is survived by: her husband, Lars Ray Pawlosky; her sons, James Dillon Pawlosky and Payton Doyle Pawlosky; by her parents, Doyle and Ute Volkmer; and by her brother, Dr. Randy D. Volkmer, DVM and wife Lisa Jean, all of Bay City.

She is also survived by: her father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Carolyn Pawlosky; brother-in-law, Billy K. Pawlosky and wife Stephanie; by nieces, Chelsea Christine Pawlosky and Kinsey Rae Pawlosky; nephews, Randy D. Volkmer, II and Karson Doyle Volkmer; step niece and nephew, Cameron and Lindsey Schroeder, all of Bay City; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends in the United States and Germany.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, October 26, 2009 at St. Peter Lutheran Church with the Rev. Jared Stillions officiating.

Interment followed at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City, Texas.

Pallbearers were Gloria Berger, Lila Clements, Teresa Dixon, Reba Ford, Leslie Riedel, Susan Taylor and Beverly Teutsch.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Houston Hospice of El Campo, Hospice Support, Inc., PO Box 1417, El Campo, TX 77437 or the St. Peter Lutheran Church, 3000 9th St., Bay City, TX 77414.

PALACIOS - David Pena, 50, of Palacios, passed away on Friday, Dec. 6, 2013. He was born Dec. 18, 1962, in New Gulf, Tx., to the late Fred and Leocadia Chavez Pena. He was a labor/ construction worker and a Catholic.

He is survived by his wife, Maria Pena of Palacios; daughters, Emely Pena and Juliette Pena, both of Palacios; sisters, Irene Rangel of Bay City, Sylvia Gonzalez, Diane Muniz, Mary Rosas, and Judy Herrera, all of Palacios; brothers, Fred Pena Jr. of Castroville, Rudy Pena and Steven Pena, both of Palacios.
He is preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation will be Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013, at 9 AM with a Rosary following at 10 AM and funeral service to follow at 11 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Palacios.

Pallbearers: Fred Pena, Rudy Pena, Justin Rangel, and Jose Luiz Rosas.

Honorary Pallbearers: Emely Pena and Juliette Pena.

Under the direction of Artero Memorial Chapels, Port Lavaca.

Pena, Mrs. Eduviges G., 79, passed away at Matagorda General Hospital Saturday. Rosary was recited at 6:00 PM Sunday evening at the Taylor Bros. Funeral Chapel, and Mass will e at 4:00 PM Monday afternoon at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, Rev. Richard Jeffery officiating. Interment will be in Cedarvale Cemetery.

 

She is survived by: two daughters, Mrs. Carmen Davila, and Mrs. Petra Enriquez; three sons, Blas Pena, Lolo Pena, and Ramon Pena, all of Bay City; two sisters, Juanita Garamillo and Isidra Luqano, both of New Mexico; one brother, Dorotio Gomez of Los Angeles, California; and 25 grandchildren.

 

Pallbearers will be Johnny Enriquez, Ramon, Howard, and Manuel Pena, and Samuel and Luez Davila.

Graveside services for Marie Tomasita Ruiz Pena, 78, were held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 20, 2015. Interment was in Cedarvale Cemetery.

 

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 28, 2015, at Morales Funeral Home, Houston, Texas, with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM. Church Mass was held at Immaculate Conception Church, Houston Texas.

 

Mrs. Pena was born January 8, 1937, to Niconaiz Ruiz and Enocencia Martinez Ruiz, and passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015.

 

Survivors include: sons, Isidore Pena, Jr., Manuel G. Pena, Sergio Pena, and Orlando Pena; daughters, Sandra Silva and Nelda Rangel; 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Perez, Fernando John, age 26, passed away suddenly at his home early this morning. A long-time resident of Bay City, Mr. Perez was an employee of the H. E. B. Food stores. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Victoria Perez and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Perez, all of Bay City. Also surviving are two daughters, Kerri Lynn and Susan Marie Perez; brothers, Guadalupe of Wharton, Frank in Thailand and Steve, serving in Vietnam; and a sister, Connie Lara of Freeport. Services will be held in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father J. P. Shannon officiating. Time of the service is pending. Arrangements under the direction of Dick R. A funeral Mass for Lorenzo Perez, 84, of Bay City, is scheduled for 10 a. m. Wednesday, Aug. 24, 1994, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Edward Boren officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.

A rosary will be said at 7 p. m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, 1994, at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home chapel.

Mr. Perez was born Sept. 16, 1909, in Cuero, to Nicholas and Julia Cruz Perez and died Aug. 19, 1994, in Matagorda General Hospital.

A member of the Catholic church, he was a retired concrete finisher.

Survivors include his wife, Cruz Perez of Bay City; two daughters, Lupe Torres of Bay City and Bennie Perez of Houston; a brother-in-law, Manuel Mejias of Bay City; three step-daughters, Martha Ramirez, Maria Cantu, both of Bay City and Vernonia Aurea of Bay City; five sons, Paul L. Perez of Bay City, Lorenzo Perez of Phoenix, Ariz., Amos Perez of Houston, Peter Perez of Ill., and Jimmy Perez of Houston; two step-sons, Louis and Antonio Avnea, both of Mexico; four sisters, Mrs. Eugene Navarro of Houston, Mrs. Julia Campos of Wharton, Mrs. Annie Zamora of Mich., and Mrs. Josephine Trevino of Cuero; three brothers, Juan Perez of McAllen, Isidro Perez of El Paso; a granddaughter and her husband, Curtis and Mary Ann Mitchell of Midfield; 29 other grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 12 step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a wife, Constance Lopez Perez.

Arrangements are with Taylor Bros. Funeral Home of Bay City.

Benita Perez of Fort Hood; 5 sons, Paul Perez of Bay City, Lorenzo Perez of Phoenix, Arizona, Amos Perez of Rosenberg, Pedro Perez of Houston, and Airman 1st Class Jimmy Perez of Heyford, England; brother, Ciriaco Lopez of Fredericksburg, Oklahoma; and 26 grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, September 18, 4:00 PM, with Rev. Joseph Shannon officiating. A Rosary will be held at 7:30 PM September 17, at the Taylor Bros. Chapel. Interment will be at the Cedarvale Cemetery. Arrangements with Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.
