Daily Tribune, February 12, 1951 Sammy Dalton One of the saddest events in our community life was the funeral of one of our girls—Sammy Allen Dalton—who died at her home in Kansas City, Kans., and was buried in Bay City. All who knew Sammy loved her and, although we knew that she had been desperately sick, we were misled into believing that she was on the way to recovery. She leaves her husband and sons—Jack and Jimmy Dalton—and Mickey Brooks, her mother, Myrtle Allen, and a sister, Bobbie Walzel of Alice besides other relatives and a host of friends. To them we extend our deepest sympathy.
