Jesse H. Landrum Pearl Landrum Last Rites Sunday For Jesse Landrum Funeral services were hold Sunday from Taylor Bros. Funeral Home for Jesse Landrum, 75, who died at the Rugeley-Blasingame Hospital in Wharton, Saturday morning at 8:15. Burial was in Cedarvale Cemetery with Rev. Commer of Matagorda officiating. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Douglas Kain, Matagorda, Mrs. Tommy Petrucha, Wadsworth, Mrs. Marvin Cross, Wharton, Mrs. E. C. Culley, Houston; one son, H. N. Landrum of Newgulf. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Salle Fine, Midland, Mrs. Emmar Ellis, Austin, Mrs. Leah Sowell, Austin. Mrs. Ruth Adams, Temple and one brother, Tom Landrum of Midland.

Mrs. Katie Caroline LeCompte, 92, passed away in El Campo Thursday afternoon. Rosary will be said at 7:30 tonight at Taylor Brothers Funeral Chapel, with Mass held Saturday morning at 10:00 AM in Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will be in Cedarvale Cemetery.
Born in Wadsworth, Texas, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Petrucha, she was a life long resident of Matagorda County.
She is survived by: her husband Albert of Bay City; two daughters, Mrs. Adolph Gest of Angleton, and Mrs. W. O. Cox of Houston; and five sons, W. J. of Danbury, J. G. of Alvin, George of Brazoria, Gus of El Campo, and A. P. of Bay City.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Henry LeTulle
1876 – 1953
Funeral services were held from Taylor Brothers Funeral Home Chapel Monday afternoon for Henry E. LeTulle, 77, a long-time resident of Matagorda County.
The Rev. W. W. Conerly, pastor of Bay City’s First Methodist Church, officiated at the services. Burial was in Cedarvale Cemetery, with the Masonic Lodge in charge of graveside services.
A former Missouri-Pacific agent here, Mr. LeTulle died suddenly Saturday night at 7 o’clock in Matagorda General Hospital. He had been fishing that afternoon.
Mr. LeTulle is survived by: three sisters, Mrs. Suvie Stewart of Bay City, Mrs. R. C. Bass of Bay City, and Mrs. C. D. Grubbs of Houston.
Active pallbearers were Richard A. Clark, Curtis E. Sanders, Tommy LeTulle, Henry Rugeley, John Dickerson, and Charles Ziegenhals.

Miss Katie Lipinski passed away in Austin, Saturday morning at 11:45 AM. Funeral services were held Monday morning at 9:00 o’clock at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, Father Martin officiating.
Burial was in Cedarvale Cemetery with Matchett-Newman in charge.
She is survived by: five brothers, Stanley and Pete Lipinski of Bay City, Leo of San Antonio, John of Needville and Joe of Houston.

Helen Huston Lundin Horatio A. "Pat" Lundin Helen Ottis Huston Lundin Helen Ottis Huston Lundin, 95, of Port Lavaca died Saturday, Jan. 18, 1997. She was born in Okarche, Oklahoma on Nov. 1, 1901 and was a member of Our Lady of The Gulf Catholic Church. Lundin, a homemaker, was member of VFW Auxiliary, AARP, The Altar Society of Our Lady of The Gulf Catholic Church, The Green Lake Home Demonstration Club, Calhoun County Senior Citizens Center, Garden Club, and the 42 and Bridge Club. She also taught ceramics classes for 25 years in Calhoun County. Lundin was also a longtime resident of Wadsworth. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Elaine and Edward Ruddick, Sr. of Inez; sons and daughters-in-law Tom and Martha Huston of Bay City and Mesa, Arizona and Patrick and Jo Ann Lundin of Port Lavaca; seven grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents John Henry Ottis and Anna Catherine Lodes Ottis; two husbands Milton Huston and H. A. “Pat” Lundin; son Bernard “Sonny” Huston, three sisters and eight brothers. A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Monday at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of The Gulf Catholic Church with Rev. Dan Morales officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City with Monsignor James Brunner officiating. Pallbearers are Tom Huston, Jr., David Lundin, Michael Lundin, Edward Ruddick, Jr., Jerome Ruddick, Randy Boyd and Mark Pullin. Honorary pallbearers are J. C. Melcher, Sr., Larry Dio, Sr., Stella Ramirez, the staff of First National Bank and her nephews. Survivors include two children; a son, Lee Ellis and a daughter, Mrs. Nellie Poole of Lane City; four sisters, Mrs. Viola Halliburton, Mrs. Lillie McMahan, Mrs. Teresa Coker all of Bay City, and Mrs. Maude Hardy of San Antonio, two brothers, Manuel and Earl Fisher, of Bay City. Funeral services were set for 2:30 today at Taylor Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cedarvale Cemetery.
