Moore Store
Originally operated as a store and post office at Tidehaven and
located at El Rancho Grande which was owned by Jonathan Edwards
Pierce.
In 1903, Pierce tore down the building and moved it to the
new town of Blessing and after rebuilding it served as the first
store.
It was located on the A. B. Pierce block across the road from
the Southern Pacific tracks.
James H. Logan was the first postmaster. He and his wife, Dana,
lived upstairs.
