ADDITIONAL MATERIAL

Mrs. Adolph Noster

Mrs. Annie Laurie Noster, aged 41 years, wife of Mr. Adolph Noster, died suddenly at their home this morning at 2 o’clock, and will be buried tomorrow—Wednesday—afternoon at 3 o’clock from the Baptist Church, of which she was a devout member.

Mrs. Noster leaves a baby only two days old. She is also survived by three other children and her husband. She was a sister of Mrs. (Dr.) E. E. Scott and Messrs. Henry and Joe Freeman, all of Bay City.

Decedent was a devout Christian, was reared in this section and had many friends, attracted to her by her many lovable traits of character. The shock of her death came as a distinct shock to all who knew her, as she has apparently always been in the very best of health.

The Tribune joins the many friends of the bereaved ones in sympathy for them in their sad hour.

H. T. Freeman Funeral at 10 a. m. Wednesday

Funeral services for Henry T. Freeman, 85, will be held at 10 a. m. Wednesday at the Holy Cross Catholic Church. Freeman, a retired rancher and pecan grower, died at his home in Sargent Monday morning.

A Rosary will be recited at 7:30 tonight in the Taylor Brothers Funeral Chapel.

Freeman was born in Sargent on Jan. 7, 1883. His wife, the former Nora Phillips, preceded him in death. Freeman’s only survivors are two sisters-in-law, Miss Olivia Phillips of Sargent, and Mrs. Pearl Freeman of Bay City.

Freeman was well known for his pecan groves, where he cultivated 10 different types of pecans. He also had many varieties of fruit in his orchards.

He was an active member of the Catholic Church and helped get the first Catholic school started. Freeman worked with the Basilian Fathers in this area during their mission work.

Pallbearers will be John Stevens, Elo Werlla, Billy Ham, Frank Daehne, Phillip Bowie and Alton Graham. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Lewis, Esker McDonald, Arthur Harris and Frank Lewis.
