J. R. Allen (alias Dr. J. R. Jones) - assault to kill and
murder; indicted October, '72; light complexion, light hair, blue
eyes, about 5 feet 4 inches high and of thick build; followed the
profession of a doctor; supposed to be in Louisiana or Mississippi.

Levi Arnold - Theft of a cow; indicted May, '77; is 23 or 24
years old, 5 feet 8 inches high, and stoutly built, of fair
complexion, and light brown hair, was a stock-raiser; whereabouts
unknown.

Gordolphus Baptiste - Theft of cattle; indicted October, '74;
negro. Supposed to be in Colorado county.

Albert Boulden - Assault to murder; indicted October, '73.
|
Frank Burton - Theft, indicted February, '76' he is 27 or 28
years old, but looks younger; is about 5 feet 8 or 9 inches high,
and slender, fair complexion, light brown hair, full blue eyes, has
but little beard, and of rather genteel appearance, has worked at
the carpenter trade, and was last heard from in Waller county.

James Cross - Dueling; assault to kill and murder; murder;
indicted '68; Scotchman; short thick build, light hair, blue eyes,
about 50 years old, and about 5 feet 4 inches high. Supposed to be
in Western Texas.

James Franklin - Theft of mares; indicted '69; theft of
gelding; indicted '69; negro.
|
John Foster - Theft of gelding; indicted February, '71; theft
of mule; indicted February, '71; negro; dark kinky hair, dark eyes,
about 5 feet 10 inches high, and about 40 years old.

Robert Johnson - Murder; indicted February, 71; light florid
complexion, light hair and whiskers, blue eyes about 5 feet 4 inches
high, and about 40 years old. Last hard of in the U. S. army, near
San Antonio.

Anson Jones - Theft of a hog; indicted October, '71; supposed
to be in the penitentiary at Huntsville.

Hanson Jones - Theft of hog; indicted February, '73.
|
Martin Mathews - Theft of cattle; indicted October, '74;
negro; about 40 years old, is quite intelligent, and talks
pleasantly. Supposed to be in Colorado county.

Peyton Monroe - Theft of hog; indicted October, '74.

Henry Page - Theft of cattle; indicted October, '74; negro.
Supposed to be in Colorado county.

Wm. A. Price - Forgery and swindling; indicted November, '77;
is 28 or 36 years old, 5 feet 10 or 11 inches high, and very
slender, is copper-colored, and in features is more white than
negro, is a lawyer by profession, and until recently was County
attorney of Fort Bend county; supposed to have gone to Louisiana.

Lee Sheppard - Murder; indicted 1866; mulatto, resembling a
Mexican; straight black hair and dark eyes, little beard (if any),
rather slim build, and about 5 feet 8 inches high. Supposed to be
near Houston.

Thomas Taylor - Theft of a watch; indicted June, '73.

Bill Tipton - Theft of gelding; indicted October, '73.

Robert Wiggins - Arson; indicted October, '74; indicted
October, '74; negro; Supposed to be in Wharton county.
