TIME TO ACT
Methodist Minister Says Post Is Right in Stand on Mexico
To The Post.
We appreciate your kindness in giving to us the picture in today's
paper of our boy. Irwin Moore Laughter. I want to indorse every word
in yesterday and today's editorial concerning the Mexican situation.
You have faithfully stood your ground, and have been clear in every
statement of the situation. It seems to me that every American
citizen could see the matter as you see it. It is hard for us to
lose our brave boy so early in life, see him murdered and his body
buried in the depth of the sea, away from home and loved ones, no
government responsible for such deeds against our boys, yet we wait.
It occurs to me that it is time to act, if we ever expect the
release of the prisoners, but how about the bodies of those who are
rotting on the plains and sands of Mexico? Again thanking you for
the picture, and your timely editorials. I am, yours very truly, C.
M. Myers.
