Live Oak School

The Live Oak pupils have done some real good work in wood carving. They are going to have a display at the fair. This creative art work is too extensive to describe. Many pieces of their art work will be given careful consideration by the judges.

Live Oak School News

Intermediate Room

The entire room was 100% in spelling this month. The fourth graders are: W. B. Shindler, Marthy Frysak and Betty Davenport. The fifth grader, Bruce Miller; sixth graders: Dorothy Cosper, Letha Mae Stevens and R. J. Tipton.

We are planning our Christmas program. Since there are so few of us we have to begin early..

Our Geography Map Books, the shape of the particular country we are studying are very interesting.

The fifth and sixth grades are corresponding with the fifth and sixth grades of the Shiloh School in Lavaca County.

We welcome the new first grader, James Gandy.

Primary Room

We enjoyed Mr. Taylor’s visit in our room and hope that he will visit our school again soon.

The third graders are making Geography notebooks.

Every pupil in the room is very interested in free-hand drawing. Our bulletin board is covered with drawings.

Whitfield and Richard Cosper received reading prizes last week. Geneva Mae Greenawalt is leading in health inspection checks.

Perfect spellers: Ernest Tipton, Whitfield and Richard Cosper.
