Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Linton of Houston were visiting their folks here over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Koch of Palacios were visiting the Feldhousens and Capaks the 4th of July. Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Webb of Vanderbilt visited with Mr. and Mrs. Walpole one day the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Trojcak of LaWard visited with the Boltons Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Sonny Feldhousen visited with Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Swenson Saturday. Folks, don’t forget the dance Saturday, July 14, 1956, 8:30 p. m. at the Francitas Community Center. Music by Tommy Tolleson and the Western Playboys. Those on the sick list this week are Mr. Marvin Joines and Mr. H. L. Rose. We hope they are getting along fine. The Wofford family went up to Mr. and Mrs. Leon Wofford’s on the 4th of July.

We are sorry to hear that Dub Joines has been sick. We hope he is better by now. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Green are visiting her father here. Mr. and Mrs. Bolton have their daughter and family visiting them the past week. They are from Pasadena. Mr. and Mrs. Curtiss Wofford and family visited her folks the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Green and family of Bay City visited his folks here recently. All of the Green family had dinner with their father here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. B. H. Pearce of Edna visited here one day the past week. Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Walpole and family visited the Walpole and Feldhousens here over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Linton had their daughter and family of Edna visiting them Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Chester Green visited with Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Feldhousen one night the past week.

Mr. and Mrs. Jim Harris and family have moved back to Francitas. Glad to have you back. Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Feldhousen and girls of Houston visited with the Feldhousens here over the weekend. Mrs. Bill Allen and family of Edna visited her folks here one day the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Wofford and family of Ganado visited here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Green and girls of Bay City visited with Mr. and Mrs. Marion Linton recently. Folks, don’t forget there will be a dance at the Francitas Community Center August 4, 1956. Tommy Tolleson and his Western Play Boys will furnish the music. Everyone welcome. Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Koch and son of Palacios visited with Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Feldhousen Sunday night. The rain that we got last week sure was nice.

Mr. and Mrs. Bob Parrish of Palacios have moved back here to live. Welcome back. Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Long of Houston visited his grandmother, Mrs. D. P. Long, over the weekend. Mrs. Leon Wofford and girls of Ganado attended the wedding shower for Mrs. Ethelene Walleck Friday night. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Linton had their daughter and family visiting them over the weekend. Milburn Green visited his folks last weekend and also, his sister of Blessing. Mrs. Bill Allen and children of Edna visited her folks one day the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Don Bozeman visited her sister, Mrs. Ruby Parrish, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Rose of San Angelo visited with kin folks over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Harris had their daughter and family and Mr. James Harris visiting over the weekend. Folks don’t forget the Fair next week. Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Webb visited with the Walpoles Friday night. The social event of the past week was a wedding shower given for Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Danniels. They received many nice gifts and everyone enjoyed a nice time. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Wofford and family of Ganado visited here Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Rose are visiting his folks in San Angelo this week. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Wofford visited his folks, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Wofford, recently. Mr. and Mrs. E. Shelcik visited her folks, the Carl Wallecks, Saturday night.
