Funeral services were scheduled for 2 p. m. today at Slavik Funeral Home for Henry Franklin Dollery, 76, of Cordele. Minister T. F. Shropshire of the Edna Church of Christ was to officiate, with interment in the El Toro Cemetery. Mr. Dollery, a well-known retired farmer who had resided in the Cordele area since his youth, was born Sept. 13, 1884 in Welder, Gonzales County. He passed away March 23 in the hospital in Ganado. He is survived by his widow, Sarada [Srada] Pearl Dollery of Cordele; four sons, Henry of Edna, James of Mercedes, Dave Quinn of Bay City and S. J. Quinn of Yuma, Ariz.; one daughter, Mrs. H. W. Miller of Houston; nine grandchildren, and two brothers, S. W. Dollery of Ganado and Will Dollery of Bay City.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Slavik Chapel for Mrs. Srada Pearl Dollery, 79, a native of Jackson County. Rev. Oral Speed of the Baptist Temple, officiated, and interment was in the El Toro Cemetery. Mrs. Dollery was born March 2, 1881 in this county, a daughter of D. M. Quinn and Sally Srada Code Quinn. She passed away Nov. 12 in a rest home in Victoria, following an illness of some 16 months. She is survived by four sons, Monroe Dollery of Edna, James Dollery of Mercedes, Dave Quinn of Palacios and Sill Quinn of Welton, Ariz.; a daughter, Mrs. H. W. Miller of Houston; a brother, Monroe Quinn of Edna, a sister Mrs. S. W. Dollery of Ganado; and 20 grandchildren and 40 great-grandchildren.

Pumphrey.--Edna, Texas, December 17.--J. N. Pumphrey, a pioneer citizen of this county, died here this afternoon, at the home of his son-in-law, R. C. Saunders, after a long illness. Mr. Pumphrey was 82 years of age. Deceased served throughout the civil war as a Confederate soldier, and spent many months in a Federal prison.
