Bobby Miller

Edna—Bobby Miller, 73, passed away on Dec. 23, 2018. He was born Nov. 6, 1945 in El Campo, TX to Murphy Miller Sr. and Carrie Stroman Miller. Bobby served in the US Army where he received numerous awards including the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Preceding him in death are his parents, sister, Kathryn Butler, and 2 brothers, Murphy Miller Jr. and E. B. Taylor.

To cherish his memory he leaves his wife, Margie Miller; 2 daughters, Tammy Johnson (Jason) and LaTonya Miller; 2 stepsons, Jason (Graciela) and Efren Bryant; 2 sisters, Johnnie and Jessie Banks; 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Fri, Dec. 28, 2018 at Cook-Butler Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 11 AM Sat. Dec. 29, 2018 at Shiloh Baptist Church, with burial to follow at Hines cemetery. Final arrangements entrusted to Cook-Butler Funeral Home, 361-782-3821.
