Elisha Floyd Extr } Probate
The undersigned executor of the last Will & Testament of David B. Floyd Dec'd would respectfully show to the court that in consequence of a serious affliction of the eyes and consequence inability to attend to business for a long space of time he is unable to present to the court a full and complete showing of the claims? presented ____bracing amount and time of acceptance. He would also further show that he has in hand no money for distribution to creditors except perhaps a few dollars nor does he hope to have any from the sale of land certificate until it can be ascertained that a patent will issue thereon and the sale notes fall due which takes value in May next. Therefore he prays that he be allowed until the May term of your court to make his exhibit showing the condition of said estate and as in duty . . .
