COUNTY ROAD 103, IOLA, GRIMES COUNTY, TEXAS.
This old cemetery was restored by Dale Ray Chaney. The oldest known burial is that of Isom Calvin Davis 16 Mar 1850, son of Christopher James Davis and his wife Harriet Gordon. Christopher James Davis was born in North Carolina the son of Christopher Davis and Frances Henderson. There are two unknown burials inside the fence. There is a petrified rock above the grave of Isom Calvin Davis. There is a hand carved stone with W. Chan which appears the carver ran out of room. There is a burial outside the fence marked with a carved stone set in the ground.
