 West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas  Sue Thompson 13 August 1864 - 5 Novmeber 1954 The Whitewright Sun Thursday, November 11, 1954 pg. 1 Funeral services for Miss Sue Thompson, 90, were held at the Earnheart Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, conducted by Rev. Newton V. Cole. Burial was in West Hill Cemetery in Sherman. Pallbearers were Arthur Badgett, G.O. Neal, Riley Tabor, Dutch Neal, Clyde Brown, and Pascal Connelly. Miss Thompson died about noon Friday at the Mullican Rest Home at Savoy, where she had resided since she fractured her hip last winter. Her home was on route 2. Born August 13, 1864 at Germantown, Tennessee, Miss Thompson was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.M. Thompson. She had lived in the Kentuckytown community for 50 years. She was a cousin of Mrs. John Umphress of Van Alstyne, only known survivor.
