West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas Walter L. Johnson 1883 - 1918 Paris Morning News Sunday, October 11, 1918 Walter Johnson, formlery of Paris, who was for a long time in the employ of the Texas Power & Light Co, died at 12:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon in Sherman, where he was holding a position with the same company. He was born and reared south of Paris in Clardy community and was 32 years old. He is survived by a wife and baby and by his mother, Mrs. Sperry; a brother, Charley Johnson is a lineman in the employ of Texas Power & Light Co. here; and the following sisters, all of whom reside here: Mrs. Charles Moore, Mrs. Gus Eubank, Mrs. Henry Hardy. His mother and brother were with him when he died and his sisters went to Sherman last night to attend the funeral.
