- Services for Mrs. Aubyn Fay Wolfe, 76, of 1817 Crescent, who died
Monday, May 16, 1983 in a Sherman hospital following a lengthy illness,
were held Thursday morning, May 19, 1983 at Trinity Presbyterian
Church. Rev. Robert H. Thompson of the church officiated and burial was in West Hill Cemetery, directed by Dannel & Horton Funeral Home. Mrs. Wolfe was born in Honey Grove, a daughter of Luther and Lena Parkhill Shelton. She attended Honey Grove schools and moved to Sherman in 1931. She married Russell Lowell Law in 1931 and after his death in 1967, married Judge Sam D. Wolfe, Sr. in 1970. A member of the Trinity Presbyterian Church, she serves as one of the first women elders. She was active in numerous organizations and a charter member of the College Hill Junior Literary Club. Surviving are her son, Russell Lowell Law of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; brothers, Roy Shelton of Honey Grove and L.H. Shelton of Carrollton; and 2 grandchildren. Pallbearers were nephews.
