services were held Thursday afternoon, February 26, 1981 for Frank D.
Brown, 45, of 2309 N. Ricketts, Sherman. Mr. Brown died Tuesday,
February 24, 1981 in a Sherman hospital. Rev. Bob Allen of
Trinity Baptist Church in Sherman officiated at the service, which was
held at the Waldo Funeral Chapel in Sherman. Burial was made in
the West Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Clyde Nelms, Charlie
Huffman, William C. Scott, J.D. Melton, Hubert Martin, and Ira Phillips. Mr. Brown was born in Windom, Texas, a son of Mr. and Mrs. David L. Brown. He married Jessie Forbes on November 11, 1959 in Dallas. He was a graduate of Windom High School, attended Southern Methodist University, and graduate from North Texas State University in Denton. He had been employed with Texas Instruments for 24 years in Dallas and Sherman. He was a quality assurance supervisor at Texas Instruments in Sherman at the time of his death. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Sherman. Survivors are his wife of Sherman; one son, Carl Brown of Sherman; one daughter, Miss Kim Brown of Sherman; one brother, Everett L. Brown of Garland; and two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Falls of Rockwall and Mrs. Alma Eason of Borger.
