Caldwell 5 April 1931 - 21 October 2003  The Herald Democrat September 8, 2013 Sherman - Beverly Jean Dodson, 62, life-long resident of Sherman, passed peacefully, with her family by her side, Friday, September 6, 2013 at Sherman Healthcare Center. Graveside services were held Monday morning in West Hill Cemetery, Sherman, Texas. Ms. Dodson was born in Sherman April 11, 1951, daughter of Alvin Lee White and Evelyn Louise Griffith White. She had worked in the Burlington Industries plant prior to its closing, and also worked as a bartender locally for many years, until injuries from an automobile accident left her totally disabled. Ms. Dodson loved life and found pleasure in the simple things, such as a "good bargain" at a local garage sale, or placing that last piece into a colorful jigsaw puzzle. Left to cherish Beverly's memory are her 3 children: John Charles Dodson and wife, Patty; Gina Veal and husband, Terry, all of Sherman; and Misty Quirolo and husband, Charles, of Denison; one brother, Alvin Lynn White and wife, Carol, of Sherman; 2 sisters, Annette Martin and husband, Ray; and Rhonda Loving and husband, Neal, all of Sherman; 8 grandchildren: Justin Westmoreland; Jeremy Westmoreland; Blakelee Veal; Abigail Motley; Avery Motley; Adriana Veal; Mason Veal; and Charles Quirolo IV; and certainly, a host of friends who will miss her dearly. Ms. Dodson was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Rebecca Nicole Dodson.
