JAMES HULSEY DEAD
WELL KNOWN SHERMANITE PASSES AWAY AFTER LONG ILLNESS

James Hulsey, 68 years of age, died this morning at 4:45 o'clock, after an illness of about six months duration.  Burial will be tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon following funeral services at 2:30 o'clock held at the chapel of the undertaking parlors of Haynes and Sporer, on the west side of the square.  Interment will be in West Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Hulsey is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Rice and Mrs. W. H. McNeely, both of Sherman.  He also has a nephew, Sam Rice of Anson, Texas and a niece, Miss Clifford Rice of El Paso. 
Jim Hulsey, as he was known to the people of Sherman, was well liked by all and his death will be deeply deplored.  He had lived in Sherman about forty-two years.  He was a Georgian by birth and came to Texas in the early day of railroad building in this state with Capt. O. T. Lyon.  After locating in Sherman he engaged in the hardware business and was actively engaged in that business until his retirement a few years ago. 
He was the son of Capt. E. M. Hulsey, a Confederate veteran and served two years in the war on the southern side himself.  His father died about nine years ago and his mother two years ago.  Mr. Hulsey had been married and his wife died nine years ago. 
The surviving relatives have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.
