were held Wednesday afternoon in the Waldo Funeral Chapel for Mrs.
Bessie Clark, 90, long time Sherman resident, who died Tuesday at a
Sherman hospital.
Services were conducted by Rev. Dale Fore, Grayson Baptist Association superintendent, with burial at West Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Clark was born in Macon County, Tennessee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas C. Cook and was married to W.T. Clark on May 11, 1911 in Sherman. She had been a resident since 1902 and was a member of the East Sherman Baptist Church. Survivors are sons, W.T. Clark of Ft. Worth and Paul Clark of Sherman; daughters, Mrs. Anna Bell Graves of Sherman and Mrs. Lillian Lee of Claremont, California; sisters, Mrs. Ella Bahl of Tea Neck, New Jersey; Mrs. Lillian Cook and Mrs. Katherine Lawrence, both of Sherman; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bob Alexander, Jack Hill, Jack Baldwin, Jerry Jones, Bennie Coker and Olen Blankenship.
