Wright, 76, Sherman, retired manager of the Texas Employment Commission office in Denison, who died Monday night in a Bonham hospital after an extended illness, will be Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. in West Hill Cemetery under the direction of Dannel-Horton Funeral Home. He was born June 23, 1905 in Nanticoke, Penn., son of Arthur and Elizabeth Wasko Wright. He was a graduate of Township High School and attended Indiana State Teachers College and Pennsylvania State College. He married Mary Ann Smith on March 28, 1968 in Denison. He was office manager for the Texas Employment Commission in Denison from 1945 to 1970. He was then associated with Lilley's Department Store at SherDen Mall from 1970 to the time of his illness in September 1981. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Andrew Randell Masonic Lodge 1342 where he was a Master Mason and a noble of the Mystic Shrine Hella Temple of Dallas. Survivors include his wife. The family will receive friends at the residence, 1033 North Lockhart, Sherman. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
