West Hill Cemetery Sherman, Texas D.H. Pritchett 19 January 1845 - 14 January 1918 Sherman Daily Democrat Tuesday, January 14, 1919 pg. 4 D.H. PRITCHETT Veteran of Civil War Died in Sherman Early Tuesday Morning D.H. Pritchett, 75 years of age and a veteran of the war between the states, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Will Rawlins, on East Thomas avenue, at 4:15 o'clock Tuesday morning. Mr. Pritchett had resided in Grayson county for the past 25 years. He is survived by the following children, most of whom will attend the funeral: Mrs. Will Rawlins of Sherman; John Pritchett of Oklahoma; Lee Pritchett of Colorado; Arthur, Oliver and Abraham Pritchett, all of Oklahoma; Richard Pritchett, who is in the service in England; Mrs. Emerson Wilder of Oklahoma; and Mrs. Alonza Williams of Mineola. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon, although the hour has not been decided. Sherman Daily Democrat Wednesday, January 15, 1919 pg.5 Services for D.H. Pritchett will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home of his daughter, Mrs. C.B. Thomas, of No. 1307 E. Odneal street. Rev. J.W. Slagle, pastor of Key Memorial Methodist Church, will conduct the services, and interment will be made in West Hill Cemetery.
