SHERMAN BUSINESS MAN FOUND DEAD
Sherman - Without a known cause, the career of George A. Stewart, 57, owner of produce businesses in Denison and Sherman bearing his name, came to an end here Thursday night.  His body, with a bullet wound through the head, was found by Leslie Jenkins, an employe, at 7:45 o'clock p.m. lying on the floor of his office.  A note, giving instructions as to his business, was found lying on a nearby table.
An inquest conducted by County Judge A.S. Noble, resulted in the verdict that "Stewart came to his death by gunshot wounds self-inflicted."
At 6:45 Thursday night Mr. Stewart talked by telephone to Clarence Walker, employe of the Denison Produce Company, a branch house, saying he was seeking to locate Jenkins wanting him to report as early as possible to the office.
When Jenkins arrived at the produce office here, he found the door locked, but entered with a pass key.  He at once notified Dr. A.L. Riding.
As Mr. Stewart had been in good health and in no financial difficulties, according to relatives, no reason for his death is known.
